A pearl in the red sea, a flower in the field,
The changing of the leaves
You are in the clouds, the grass, the distant hillsHow could we not see?

Poetry and prose. It′s in the shape, the color,
The smell of a rose
You left Love letters written in Your hand
For the careful eye to read.

But we misread
And gave Your glory to the birds
We gave Your honor to Your works instead
But we misread
And chased the sun, the moon, the stars
To try to found our who we are
And from where we came

When the dawn breaks, in every sunset
The heavens they proclaim
In a voice that goes out to the ends of the Earth
The splendour of Your name

But we misread
And gave Your glory to the birds
We gave Your honor to Your works instead
But we misread
And chased the sun, the moon, the stars
To try to found our who we are
And from where we came

But this beauty still will fade
All this loveliness is destined to decay.
In a dying world, even nature waits
For the glory that shall be

On our way to death, we wait to truly be alive
To fall before our God and cry Holy
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord
