I stare out the window
Don't know what I'm looking for
Maybe for an answer
Just can't make it out the door
Thinking about what happened last night

I don't understand it

So I keep looking through veiled eyes
When I make it outside

It's as dark as the bar I travel to next
So, I drown my sorrows away
As I try to explain
To the man I sat next to
Fast forward through the playbook
To know what to do
My journal reads the same mistakes
Every page is as dark as the next
